Over 10 boundary-pushing years, Nic Chagall and Bossi have evolved Cosmic Gate into one of the most creative and highly-sought-after electronic music acts in the world. On Saturday night, January 22nd, the German duo literally brought the house down at Club Glow. Even Caps star Alex Ovechkin, fresh off his first hat trick of the season at Toronto, jumped on a plane and came straight to the club to hear these powerhouses of Trance.

One thing to note from the above video is that it was shot using my Nikon D300s SLR camera. It was the first time I used an SLR camera to shoot video, so I really didn’t know what to expect. I love the color and richness of the video, but the sound pretty much sucks. Investing in a better mic is probably in my near future. I also think I forgot to change the settings in the camera to shoot video in HD. I’ll look into that as well. Regardless, having the option to switch from stills to high-quality video is pretty sweet. Stay tuned for the photos… =)
