Urban Marinade

Well here we go again. I decided to dig into my photo archives and uncover yet another collection of shots that never got produced. These come from an October 2008 trip to Minneapolis-St. Paul for the Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown. This was right around the time I started traveling extensively for dancing, so I made a point to photograph these random cities I would visit. I can remember this particular weekend was mostly cold and gray, so I wasn’t able to capture much. Heck, I really don’t remember much of either city. Minneapolis had some impressive skyscrapers that would make for good photography. Unfortunately our hotel and the dance event was centered mostly in St. Paul. And well, St. Paul isn’t much to get excited about. As I say with most cities I visit, I wouldn’t mind going back to photograph Minneapolis a bit more. But for now, these are the few images I decided to keep. Enjoy more after the break…
