Urban Marinade

A few weeks ago I started looking at my photography site and though…damn, this site needs a new look. Generally speaking, Dougvansant.com has gone through several different designs. The first few versions were more news oriented and designed to show friends and family what I was up to. But the past two designs shifted to a more photography based look. This latest is a continuation of my push to make the entire site all about my photography and less about me.

Things you’ll notice is my bio is suddenly a whole lot smaller with more detail about my photography experiences and that’s about it. I’m also slowly moving the personal galleries off the site and will hopefully clean up existing sub-categories. I’ll also launch a “prints” section in the coming weeks where readers will be able to order my work.

The main goal with this site is to display my art to the world in an easy to look at, read and navigate format that hopefully keeps you coming back. So there it is. A quick review and summary of why I changed up Dougvansant.com. Be sure to bookmark the site because new galleries are always going live throughout the week. =)
