Talking Some Smack

You’ve heard the expression before. A lot of people talk smack. Most probably shouldn’t. But sometimes a little smack is talked and it gets backed up. That’s the case when the designers of the renovated Smack Nightclub in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, UK included a 1000 sq. ft. room complete with nearly 10,000 RGB LEDs controlled by Madrix.

I can’t say I’m in love with the dubstep track used to display the room’s capabilities, but oh well. Little needs to be said about the dynamic range of control between the music and the light show in this little UK gem. If I ever find myself anywhere near Leamington Spa or Coventry, I’ll be sure to capture some images from this room.
