Urban Marinade

If you happen to follow any of my various social media outlets, you’ll already know myself and Robert Fairbairn plan to be in Miami next week for what is being called “Miami Music Week.” This consists of hundreds of parties and DJ shows that lead up to the massive Ultra Music Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

For my non-dance music friends, this is essentially Super Bowl week for electronic music. Pretty much every top DJ, record label and promoter descends on Miami this final week of March and throw parties practically 24/7 for 6 days straight. Yes, Red Bull will have a heavy presence in South Florida throughout the week.

As much as most of us would love, it is impossible to see every performance. The hottest ticket is Ultra Music Festival, which will bring close to 150,000 people out all day for 3 days to see the best electronic music line-up in the world. After Ultra, there are parties at every major club and hotel that allow specific DJs and labels to showcase their artists as well as engage their true fans.

I know a bunch of people have been asking us what our schedule will look like, so I’ll post what we have confirmed at this point. I’m sure some things will change and we’ll add a party or two, but our week is just about full as is. I’m not including Ultra as confirmed because we haven’t received word on press credentials.
